Pocket Life Sketch Friday | simple spread versus busy one

Hello everyone! Mira here with Pocket Life Sketch Friday fun!

I prepared two full-spread sketches for today - one is very busy and one super-simple. I'd like You to try them both just to compare and decide which one do You prefer in Your PL approach. Or maybe You will like them both!? Let's see!

First one is busy:

Second - very simple (with 12x12 layout on the right side)

Here's how they look in my album:

The one above is full of details - pictures are very colorful (they are about Ola's first art-class, so I wanted them to stay this way instead of turning them into B&W). To keep my spread consistent I added even more colors! Watercolor Citrus Twist Kits papers from April "Santorini" Pocket Life Kit were just perfect for my theme, so I used them to create frames around my pictures on the right page. Many beautiful embellishments from the kit made my spread even more artsy!

In contrast, my second spread is really simple. Pictures, a few embellishments on the left and one-photo Layout on the right:

In this one I used absolutely the best scrapbooking product ever (love it so much!) which is: Life Noted Acetate Cut Words by Pinkfresh Studio from April Sprinkles Kit. Added a few more words here and there, a bit of stamping and embellishments and that was it!

Here You have more details from both of my spreads:

Now is Your turn! First - try to create one busy and one simple spread and then - let me know which one do You like better! If You happen to use the sketches remember that You have a chance to win a price! Create a layout based on the sketches from this blog post, post your layout to our Gallery or our Facebook Fan Page by Friday, April 15th and be sure to include PL 04/15 in the title!

Thanks for visiting Pocket Life Friday!
